The Seminar for process owners offers an optimal overview of the topic Business Process Management in companies. It is aimed both at executives in companies that run their own business process management, and at consultants who need to understand and optimize business processes before digitization.

The seminar is designed for two days and has the following schedule:

• 1st day
• You know which topics are covered by process management and the tasks involved
• You have recorded a first process as presented by a case study
• You have learned two important modeling languages for business processes (one in detail, one in overview)
• You can distinguish between strategically important processes by use of a process map
• 2nd day
• You know process key figures as a tool for measuring processes and have used them practically on the case study
• You know the typical roles in process management
• You get to know Petri nets as a language for process simulation
• You recognize to what extent business processes are the basis for workflow management systems
• You experience how you can optimize processes with the help of the Theory of Constraints

In addition to the seminar you will receive a comprehensive documentation of the seminar's contents.
